People want to get out of stress, but because of its consistence, people find themselves stressed even when they try to relax. Here are a few exercises that could help stressed people find their comfort zone on a daily basis.

1. Before Bedtime or Work Break
If you’re about to sleep, try to lay yourself in a bed or somewhere comfortable to sit up straight, such as an easy chair. Listen to soothing music, such as instrumental jazz music, or wear some earplugs. Tighten the muscles from your face first, then relax them, for five times. Do this on every major muscle group in your body, including your neck, your shoulders, your arms, your upper back, your torso, your legs and feet.

2. Pressure
Once again relax yourself in the same method as described in the first exercise, then from your feet going upward, concentrate on making parts of your body heavy by imagining blood rushing to such areas. Imagine your blood rushing to your legs and allow them to feel heavier and heavier. Allow them to hang loose and do not move them. You will actually feel blood rush through them. Do this exercise for every major muscle group in your body. Imagine a cool breeze blowing across your forehead and through your air.

3. Throwing Out the Garbage
Slowly breath heavily and relax yourself. Only think about good things, positive thoughts that get you thrugh each day. Exhale and imagine all your bad thoughts and negative ideas. Repeat the process and let your mind wander.

In any motor accident or road traffic accident claim, even with all the evidences and witness statements you have during a court process, it is very difficult to prove your offender’s liability. In a motorcycle accident claim, it is clear that the motorcycle is the faster vehicle, but it also puts the driver in graver dangers than a car owner during an accident. Here are tips to ensure that you could prove your offender’s guilt quickly.

1. Common Sense
Car and motorcycle drivers know when a driving error or error of judgment while driving had occurred to another driver. This particular common sense applies when accusing who bears the burden of guilt in the road accident compensation claim. However, it would still be wise to have authorities investigate the entire situation to determine the particular driving error themselves.

2. Highway Code
Each driver bears responsibility in using the UK’s public highways. The highway code dictates the responsibility of each driver for the safety of the other drivers. An offender is somebody who committed the first act of highway code violation that led to the victim’s accident and injuries.

3. Evidence
A victim should admit themselves to a hospital right after their motorcycle accident. A medical professional can study the victim’s injuries and indicate the kind of medical treatment needed and a prognosis on the possible recovery time and lost wages of the victim. Aside from the medical report, victims can present authorized investigation results and road traffic camera footages that show their accident if they filed a police report.

Former Lloyds Executive Eric Daniels pointed out that Lloyds, the bank that he helped push to the borderlines of bankruptcy and disgrace, was only doing “the work of angels” and that “PPI was good value for money”. He apologised sincerely to all customers that the bank mis sold PPI, but he said that around half the total PPI claims Lloyds receives are illegitimate.

He stressed out that customers received a good sales process from the bank and purchased a product they knew they were suitable. He insisted that customers were responsible for sending in bogus PPI claims to increase the bank’s compensation bill.

However, the Financial Ombudsman Service dismisses all statements from Daniels as false as they verified on Monday that 3 out of 4 PPI claims going into Lloyds are valid claims.  The FOS encouraged customers to view the statements of former Lloyds boss Eric Daniels with cynicism.

Lloyds is struggling to compensate different financial scandals aside from PPI. It recently earmarked £90 million for compensating businesses it mis sold interest rate swap products from 2009-2011, and this compensation amount can increase to £200 million by the following month. It recently increased its PPI compensation provision by £1 billion, bringing its total to  £6.3 billion, the largest any UK bank contributed to mis sold PPI.

Recreation is more than just a relaxing activity; it helps you regain perspective in life. The daily routine of office work and travel seems endless, but recreational activities help you see yourself in a different light and find a break in between the daily grind. If you can’t find your own recreational activity, here’s a list of a few things you could try out.

1. Sports
If your body is physically able, take advantage of your strength and join local sports groups or teams. Playing sports, such as hockey, baseball, basketball or football, helps you alleviate body stress while also strengthening it in the process. It is a different thing than your daily office work, and it helps you become healthy too.

2. Arts and Crafts
Art making is a truly relaxing activity. Try your hand in making a canvas oil painting, experimenting with pencils or pastels and other mediums of art. The best thing about making artworks or crafts is that there is no need for any instructions. Just do what you want to do, then interpret what you have done, even if it may seem abstract.

3. Music
If you have an ear for music and you want to express yourself through it, you could then begin to make your own music. Learn to play an instrument and then make it an objective to make songs at any given day. Music is synonymous with writing so if you have time in the office, write a few lines expressing yourself in the manner you want to say it.

The Internet is now a separate, virtual world that anybody with a computer and Internet connection can travel in. Once only a network of information and data, it is today a landscape of virtual experiences, with instant communication between people through messenger services, and also different kinds of media to entertain. But the Internet can also help you relax. How so, read on!

1. Reading
If you own a tablet, you could actually buy books online. E-books cost less than actual books and applications found in most mobile Internet devices help your tablet function like a real book without irritating your eyes with the glaring light. Before you sleep, read a few pages and you don’t have to worry if you miss the page when you sleep; the device instantly bookmarks it.

2. Talking to Strangers
Your parents may have told you not to talk to strangers, but it would be safe if you talked from a distance. Communication services allow for anonymous chatting between one person or with many different persons. Talking to strangers, especially if you live alone, can be rewarding as they can help relieve your stress and you can at least have someone to talk to without consequence or prejudice. Just don’t share your financial information, home address and make sure to know how to hide your IP Address just in case.

3. Free Online Movie Streaming
Nothing is more relaxing than watching your favourite movie and watching some reruns if you feel like it. Internet websites that feature online movies streaming may require you to pay a small fee, but have all the access to old and new or even upcoming movies. This can be a fun way to spend your Sunday evening alone too.

The Ministry of Justice will abolish the win/lose no fee claims system for claimants by April 2013 in response to the rising numbers of fraud and exaggerated claims. UK Prime Minister David Cameron, working with stakeholders of the insurance industry, had decided to take measures as insurance companies incurred £2 billion yearly losses due to fake claims.

The abolishment of the win/lose no fee legal arrangement might mean problems for some people. The MOJ put the win/lose no fee in place of no win no fee claims in 2009 because the 25% of the victim’s compensation is paid to the legal representative, leaving them undercompensated in the process. However, the MOJ is working on a system that ensures they give the proper compensation to genuine claims and bar those that seem fraudulent or exaggerated.

Legal experts advise people to stay safe and away from accidents. The abolishment of the no win no fee will leave the victims of accidents to fund for their own legal services upon victory. In a win/lose no fee arrangement, the losing defendant pays for the victim’s base legal fees and success fee.

Many experts also say that the UK may find a hard time adapting back to the no win no fee claims system, while some say it could be easier. The Small Claims Court would be the one handling ignorable to minor claims as its payout has increased from its former maximum of £2000 increased to £5000 total compensation.

Men and women differ not just because of their gender, but also in the way they relax. The male physical build-up is quite different from a female’s and the activities that some males perform daily can be more strenuous. Here is a list of things that males can do to relax themselves.

1. Commit To Relaxation
Most men have so many things in their minds that they forget to relax even for just a second. Committing at least 30 minutes concentrating on relaxation can help ease up the body’s physical activities and also relieve the pressure off your mind. Whether going home from a bus ride or in any comfortable position inside the office during lax hours, you could concentrate on relaxation and actually regenerate your body somewhat.

2. Mental Focus
The power of committing yourself for at least 30 minutes for relaxation will help wind down your mind and take the pressure off the problems you’re currently facing. Meditation is the key to relaxation. By focusing your mind in a single mental image, you begin “concentration meditation”, which further eases the pressure in your mind. This can easily slow down your mind and eradicate the thoughts you don’t need at the moment.

3. Deep Breathing
Any kind of rhythm can help you relax, and if you breathe deeply in a consecutive pattern, you could achieve relaxation easily. Breath in and breathe out deeply and slowly. More oxygen in the body means more blood flow, as stress causes you to take shorter and quicker breathes and can tighten up your body. Deep breathing gives you back your strength and oxygen lost to stress.

Relaxation is a big question especially for people with bodies working almost 20 hours a day from work, making a home to their sleeping time and when it’s time to rest, their body cannot adjust properly. Adrenaline rushes and the lack of attention span is found in most people who have many things to worry about. So how can you relax and take a good sleep at night? Here’s how.

1. Avoid Coffee

Too much caffeine in your system gets stored, especially if you drink coffee on a daily basis with a maximum of five cups per day. Too much coffee tenses your muscles and your brain muscles, which makes it difficult to sleep as your mind is actively processing the details of things that you are worrying about.

2. Meditate Before Sleeping

Before you sleep, take an hour to turn off your lights, sit still in your bed and think about your personal goals, achievements for the day and the things you want to set for yourself after you have finished one personal goal. Congratulate yourself on your accomplishments for the day and forgive yourself for any shortcomings. Coming to terms with yourself before sleeping is essential for a good night’s rest.

3. Don’t Take Naps

Naps are great ways to recharge during the day, but they also take a toll on your sleep schedule. To ensure that you get the maximum recharge you need from your sleep, refrain from getting naps. Set a schedule for your sleep and avoid daylight sleeping as it can harm your biological clock.

4. Take a Good, Hot Shower

Hot showers relax tense muscles in the body, including your mind and help you relax. This is why some people fall asleep in the shower. Take just a quick shower and put yourself to bed. You’ll find you’re sleeping a lot easier than usual with just this practice.
